‘Top o the World Ma!’ City of London from The Gherkin 230cm x 180cm Acrylic on board
I make drawings in the streets of London and work on them in the studio to create large canvases. I’m interested in the layers of stories within London, those above our heads and beneath our feet and in the hearts of the people who live here. I search for forgotten everyday moments that reveal truths about the city.
I try to exhibit at the buildings in London that inspire me to create dialogues with people where stories can be shared. Recent venues have included City Hall, Bar Italia Soho, The Gherkin, The Dixie Queen Paddle Steamer Tower Bridge, St Pancras Church, Oxo Gallery, Rich Mix Arts Bethnal Green.
